Project Astra’s second pillar is about creating an economic renaissance for our poor communities through affordable housing, homeownership, and business incentives.
1. Affordable Housing: At the discretion of the community, designate a portion of the funds towards affordable housing projects.
2. Home Ownership: Provide a 20% down payment grant for qualified residents to transform them from renters to homeowners.
3. Business Incentives: Incentivize businesses to move into or remodel within these communities with designated funds that are dedicated to subsidizing 50% of their construction costs.
The local community can allocate to one, two or all three of these investment categories.
